Course
Description:
Wide reading from all genres of children's literature and criteria for selection and response. Students examine how literature can be used to facilitate reading, writing, speaking, and listening in content areas (e.g., social studies, science). Students are introduced to theory and research in language acquisition, development, and linguistic variation.
