The University of Georgia Alumni Association

Originally founded in 1834 as the University of Georgia Alumni Society, the UGA Alumni Association proudly supports the academic excellence, best interests and traditions of Georgia’s flagship University and its alumni worldwide.

Today, the Association connects UGA alumni worldwide who gather together through community service projects, networking opportunities, and leisure activities. The Association also funds scholarships and fellowships for outstanding UGA students and provides assistance to many campus programs.

Reaching out to current UGA students is an important part of the Alumni Association. Through student programming and the Student Alumni Association (SAA), the Association works to actively engage young Bulldogs and facilitate networking and social activities that will enrich student experiences at the University.

All UGA graduates are encouraged to stay connected with their alma mater. This can be accomplished through the Association’s alumni chapters and clubs located throughout the state, U.S., and even the world. Giving to the university is another way to remain in touch. Making an annual gift to the Georgia Fund directly supports and benefits Alumni Association programs.
