Description:
Reading of various Qur'anic surahs (chapters) not covered in Islamic Arabic I, emphasizing Arabic pronunciation, translation, understanding meaning, learning vocabulary, recognition of grammatical features, and syntax. Supplementary related Arabic readings in the "circumstances of revelation" and Qur'anic commentary. Also, readings in hadith, narrative literature, poetry, history, Sufi literature, fiqh, and various online resources for Arabic literature.
