Description:
The major themes in the course are (a) measurement of population size and population dynamics, (b) quantification of terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity, (c) assessment of the environmental impacts of pollution, (d) observation of the effects of invasive species, and (e) survey of the environmental impacts of consumer choices and life-style changes.
