Description:
The major physical processes which characterize marine coastal habitats. Emphasis is on developing an understanding of the complex interdependency within various environments and evaluating the responses to natural and human-induced disturbances. Discussion of stabilization vs. conservation issues and environmental effects of private and governmental attempts at risk mitigation.
