Course Title:Engineering Hydrology and Hydraulics
Course
Description:
Quantitative methods in hydrology and hydraulics for water resource management. Hydrology topics include precipitation, rainfall losses, unit hydrographs, flood routing, statistical hydrology, and design of stormwater control measures. Hydraulics topics include open channel flow, floodplain analysis, and design of open channels. Common hydrologic (HEC-HMS) and hydraulic (HEC-RAS) models are introduced.
