Course Title:Disability Issues in Adulthood
Course
Description:
A problem-based learning and psychosocial lifespan approach to understanding disability in adulthood is taken. Learning through service engaging with adults with disabilities is required. Students are presented with open-ended, real-life problems for analysis. Topics explored range from transition out of high school through adult life into old age.

Nontraditional Format:This course includes a service-learning project during the semester that employs skills and knowledge learned in the course related to course objectives. Student engagement in the service-learning component will be up to 25% of overall instruction time.
