Course Title:Diversity in Human Development and Family Systems
Course
Description:
Examination of the variability in family development, with an emphasis on culture, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and physical, as well as other characteristics of family members. Specific attention will be given to intersections of structural oppression, marginalization, privilege, and internalized identities of individuals, family systems, and groups across the lifespan with implications for research, policy, practice, and social justice. ​
