Minor - Nutrition Science

Program Description:
It is well established that special elements in foods and combinations of foods are not only required for optimal growth and development, but also are strongly implicated in health promotion and disease prevention and treatment. This minor provides a knowledge base for those persons interested in nutrition science and health issues.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Obtain a Declaration of Minor Form from Student Services (112 Dawson Hall). Have the completed form checked and signed by the Student Services staff.
  2. Once approved, take the completed form to your school/college that you are enrolled in and they will add the notation to your official student record.
  3. After completing all requirements or in progress of completing courses in the same semester you are graduating, go to Student Services (112 Dawson Hall) to fill out and sign a Minor Completion Form.
