A minor must contain at least 9 hours of upper division course work.
Courses taken to satisfy Core Areas I through V may not be counted as course work in the minor.
Courses taken in Core Area VI may be counted as course work in the minor.

A grade of "C" (2.0) or better in each course is required.
Students may only use one of the following courses toward the completion of her/his minor:

In addition to the above courses, women's studies students may take relevant special topics courses in other departments. Some of these special topics courses have been permanently approved (see list), while others must be petitioned for inclusion. Paperwork for petitioning courses can be found on the Women's Studies website. It is expected that petitioned courses will have a significant focus on gender, sexuality, and/or feminist theory.
