Course Description: | An introduction to the international business of motion pictures
with a primary focus on marketing campaigns and distribution
strategies, taking into account the social, political, and
economic climates of various territories worldwide.
International production finance will also be discussed. |

Course Objectives: | Students will learn how to analyze a film from a marketing and
distribution perspective. Films screened at the festival will
be used as models for creating campaign projects. Students
will also learn pitching techniques. |

The role of the producer, sales agent, and distributor in the
