Course Objectives: | To hone students' skills as readers and critics of poetry; to
develop students' skills at communicating their interpretations
clearly and effectively through a number of paper assignments
of varying lengths written in and/or out of class; to develop
an appreciation for poetry and to respond to poems that will
remain meaningful to them throughout life. |
