The focus of this course is on quantitative methods used to assist forest managers in developing forest-level management decisions. The objectives of the course are to provide students with the tools and knowledge to enable them to (a) assist land managers in developing and assessing management alternatives for a forest, and (b) provide guidance in selecting alternatives that contribute most to an organization's objectives.
