Course Objectives: | This course is designed to acquaint students with the development
of U.S. mass media as social, political, cultural and economic

and expansion; Role of individual initiative and creativity in mass media
development; Contributions of minority groups and women to media development;
Legal environment of U.S. mass media; Relationship of media to other
institutions in American society. |
