Course Title: | Sports Enterprise Reporting and Writing |
Course Description: | A project-oriented laboratory experience that will focus on the
various competencies required in reporting and writing in-depth
and multi-faceted sports enterprise stories. |

Course Objectives: | Students will learn to gather and analyze information and data;
to augment and overlay that with other background research and
interviews; and to conceptualize and produce sports
investigative and other enterprise projects. Depending upon the
nature of the reporting projects chosen for the course, the
students will study such topics as the business of sports, or
medical or legal issues in sports.
Outcomes:
Students will demonstrate competency in in-depth research and
reporting, data analysis and visualization, long-form writing,
and multimedia reporting and story presentation. |
