| Course Objectives: | • To provide an opportunity to view dance through anthropological, psychological, sociological, and aesthetic points of view.
• To provide experiences that will help students understand the kinesthetic, physical, artistic, spiritual, and compositional aspects of dance.
• To provide an overview of dance in various forms and develop skills to speak and write about dance.
• To provide an understanding of dance as a form of recreation and a source of entertainment.
