Course Objectives: | At the end of the semester, with the new skills, knowledge, and values taught in this course, the students will be able to:
• Understand and apply a variety of concepts in spatial analysis and raster data
• Solve complex problems, make decisions, and apply a variety of GIS methods to accomplish the decision-making process
• Have a basic understanding of other resources outside GIS (LiDAR, satellite imagery, and others) that can be used in
conjunction with GIS analyses
• Be proficient and self-sufficient in GIS methods, tools, and processes that they can use in their research or practicum |
