Course Title: | Learning Environments Design |
Course Description: | Contemporary learning theories of the design of interactive environments for information retrieval, learning, and performance support. Oasis Title: | LRN ENVIR DESIGN |
Nontraditional Format: | Students work in small design and development groups on a "real" instructional design project. This course along with EDIT 4160 and EDIT 4180 are what we call The Studio. Students in these classes will be scheduled to meet in the same room at the same time and there will be specific requirements for interaction between these groups at the time of the class. This class uses a mixture of structured learning experiences and independent learning experiences at the discretion of the student. Ultimate performance in the class will be evaluated using a complex rubric that focuses on the team project.
This course is also offered through the University of Georgia at Gwinnett University Center. |
