| Course Objectives: | To provide students with a meaningful agricultural or biological
engineering design experience while
1) enhancing their critical thinking skills;
2) reinforcing the logical steps of design;
3) enhancing their understanding of engineering philosophies and
procedures;
4) allowing them to synthesize knowledge gained in math, physics, computer science,
chemistry, engineering, humanities and social sciences;
5) reinforcing their communication skills; and
6) developing their teamwork capabilities. | Topical Outline: | This course is designed to provide students with a true engineering design
experience. The activities in this course will include problem definition, concept
development, detail design and fabrication. | |
