Course Description: | The history of international film from 1990 to the present, with
emphasis on cinema’s global narrative, artistic, technological,
and industrial developments, including the implications of
digital production and exhibition in Hollywood and beyond. |

Course Objectives: | Upon completion of this course, the successful student will be
able to trace major movements and issues in narrative film
history from 1990, through the rise of digital technology, up to
the present, and assigns a substantial essay to be written on a
selected topic within the period. |
