Course Description: | The planting and care of plants in the landscape environment, with a focus on science-based practices that minimize the impact on the environment. |

Course Objectives: | After completion of this course, students will be able to:
1) Understand and explain how maintenance procedures affect plant growth;
2) Identify plant problems that require attention and suggest methods to remedy the situation;
3) Properly plant, fertilize, and prune landscape plants; and
4) Interpret science-based journal articles on landscape management topics. |
