| Course Objectives: | Students will be able to demonstrate how principles of natural
and human landscape ecology inform the processes of landscape
design, planning, and management.
Students will be able to identify and apply metrics relevant
to habitat preservation, conservation, and restoration and
their use in evidence-based landscape design and planning.
Students will be able to demonstrate the measurement of
natural and human ecological function, productivity, and
intrinsic value applied to urban, rural, and natural sites.
Students will be able to explain natural and human ecosystem
