Course Objectives: | Upon completion, the successful student will be able to:
* analyze the aesthetic qualities of rock music, demonstrating a knowledge of important
composers and performers and the development of rock;
* assess the commonality and diversity of the various cultures that have contributed to
the development of rock in America;
* evaluate the impact and the role of rock music in society;
* aurally analyze various rock recordings;
* communicate understanding of these outcomes in an oral presentation. |
