Course Objectives: | Upon completion of the course, the successful student will be able to: 1) perform in a historically informed manner; 2) apply knowledge of genre and form conventions to individual masterworks; 3) understand Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven in their historical context; 4) recognize salient traits of the Classical style and of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven. |
