A baccalaureate degree program must require at least 21 semester hours of upper division courses in the major field and at least 39 semester hours of upper division work overall.

ENGL 4800W is repeatable for 12 credit hours, but only 6 hours of credit will apply to Major Electives and only if the student has not already taken ENGL 4800W to satisfy the Language, Criticism, and Culture requirement. If credit for ENGL 4800W is applied to the Language, Criticism, and Culture requirement, then only 3 credit hours of ENGL 4800W may appear in Major Electives. Up to 6 more hours of ENGL 4800W may count in General Electives.
