Career Opportunities: |
Agricultural Education prepares students for positions in teaching agriculture at the middle school, high school, post-secondary, and adult levels. Graduates are eligible for teacher certification in most states, under reciprocity agreements with the State of Georgia. Employment outlook is excellent; there is a national shortage of teachers of agriculture. For the past thirty years, Georgia has had more job openings than graduates of the program. Graduates are also eligible for a variety of related careers in agricultural business, leadership, industry, Extension, and other government agencies.
