Field Experiences
Practicums and field experiences are arranged by the students in cooperation with the HPRB department Field Experience Coordinator. Paid field experiences are not to be expected.
Advisement
Advisement is needed to ensure appropriate course sequencing as some course sequencing is required. Please contact the departmental advisor for an appointment.
Awards
Three competitive awards are offered at the undergraduate level in the Department of Health Promotion and Behavior. These awards are the Bernard Ramsey Outstanding Senior Undergraduate Major Award ($300.00), the Undergraduate Recognition Award ($200.00 and $100.00 for up to 3 recipients), and the Service Award ($100.00). A minimum overall and major GPA is required for each award and a standardized application process has been established. The deadline for these awards is the end of February annually.
