Minor - African Languages and Literatures

* A pre-requisite for the minor is one year course work in African languages (presently Arabic, Manding, Swahili, Yoruba or Zulu). All student earning the minor must complete this 6 hours (or one year) prerequisite before beginning course work for the minor.

    One course may be directed study or a course not on the list.
    To use a course that does not appear on the list, the student must petition to have the course approved by the department.
