Minor - Genetics

• A minor must contain at least 9 hours of upper division course work.
• Courses taken to satisfy Core Areas A through E may not be counted as course work in the minor.
• Courses taken in Core Area F may be counted as course work in the minor.

In cases where one of the above courses must be counted towards the major and therefore cannot be counted towards the minor, any 3-hour upper division course in BCMB, BIOL, CBIO, ENTO, GENE, MIBO, or PBIO can substitute for one course with approval of a Genetics undergraduate advisor.
