Minor - Housing

Program Description:
The minor in Housing provides a knowledge base for persons interested in a consumer's perpective of the housing marketplace. Housing issues and policies affecting and affected by consumers are emphasized.

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING.
A minor must contain at least 9 hours of upper division course work.
Courses taken to satisfy Core Areas I through V cannot be counted as course work in the minor.
Courses taken in Core Area VI may be counted as course work in the minor.
Courses taken for a minor cannot count in a major required area.
Must earn at least a "C" (2.0) grade or better in each minor course.
All Prerequisites must be met for the courses.

^* If one or more of the courses in the list above fulfills the student's major requirements, choose courses from the list below that do not fulfill the major requirements for the student. A course cannot be used to satisfy requirement for both major and a minor.

DECLARE THE MINOR: Obtain a Declaration of Minor Form in Students Services (210 Dawson Hall). Have the completed form checked and signed by the Students Services staff. Once approved, take the completed form to your school/college that you are enrolled in.
AFTER COMPLETING ALL REQUIREMENTS it is the student's responsibility to contact Student Services (210 Dawson Hall). In order to complete Minor Completion Form, GRADES MUST BE EARNED AND RECORDED ON STUDENTS RECORD.
