Course Objectives: | Using the analytical tools of microeconomic theory and econometrics, the student will
acquire an understanding of the theoretical models and empirical evidence that have
been developed in the scholarly literature on labor markets. Students will then
confirm their knowledge by completing a term project that tests a hypothesis derived
from the theory using an appropriate source of data and econometric method. |
