Course Description:  Theory emphasizing valuation and capital markets. A mathematical development of the major asset pricing theories: the capital asset pricing model (CAPM), arbitrage pricing theory, the pricing of contingent claims, and the intertemporal CAPM. Related topics include expected utility maximization, meanvariance analysis, and efficient markets.
