Course Title: | Personal and Organizational Leadership |
Course Description: | This course focuses on personal and organizational leadership
and incorporates a broad survey of theory, research, and
practice on leadership in formal organizations. Self-assessment,
case analyses, experiential exercises, and discussions are used
to develop the personal and interpersonal skills needed in
leadership roles. |

Course Objectives: | The focus of this course is an in-depth self-examination of
skills, personality, attitudes, and behaviors to increase self-
awareness of leadership competencies. Students will also examine
theories of leadership to develop insights for their personalized
leadership development. Key leadership concepts are drawn from a
variety of sources, including management, philosophy, and
psychology literature. |
