Course Objectives: | This course is designed as an opportunity for interested students
to achieve three goals. First, you are to apply, in a cloistered
environment, the concepts and principles introduced in LEGL 7050.
Second, through the benefit of a longer experience, you can
conduct serious personal reflection on their natural negotiation
style and interpersonal skills. And third, you will study the
application of principled negotiation to business organizations
by examining techniques of conflict management systems design.
This course will begin with an overview of the elements of
principled negotiation as presented in Getting to Yes. You will
reexamine the place for a particular method of negotiation. |
