Course Title: | Live Concert Recording I |
Course Description: | This course encompasses mobile recording of six live music
performances on-site at venues in Athens. The students will
set up the recording equipment, engineer the original
recording, mix and edit the final product. The
finished productions will then be delivered to WUGA 91.7 FM for
broadcast as part of a regular series on the station. |

Course Objectives: | Students will use the production techniques learned in Music
Production to record live musical performances. The students
will mix the multi-track recordings, edit the finished mixes,
and turn in a series of professional quality 60-minute
productions for broadcast on WUGA 91.7 FM. |
Topical Outline: | All students will be on a two-person team in charge of one of
the productions. All students will participate in all
productions and must be available to serve as set-up/tear-down
crew for all productions. |
