Course Description: | This course introduces the students to the general notion of electronic commerce and teaches them the management and marketing concepts and procedures that apply to electronic commerce. Specific topics will include principles of electronic commerce, attracting visitors, promotion, distribution, service, pricing, branding, advertising, consumer behavior, measuring effectiveness, societal effects, disintermediation, reintermediation, and strategy implementation. Case studies and projects are used extensively. |
