Course Objectives: | By the end of this course students should:
1. Be able to engage in meaningful discussions of current approaches to perception,
memory, and cognition.
2. Understand the role of theories and models in the study of cognitive processes.
3. Understand how models are used to generate new psychological knowledge.
4. Understand how experimental data relate to theories and models of cognitive
processes.
5. Understand the relation of neural processes and neuropsychological approaches
to the study of cognition and behavior.
6. Understand the relation of perception to memory and decision making. |
