| Course Objectives: | This course is intended to provide students with a survey of a wide range of topics
that focus on how people affect and are affected by others. Personality (e.g., self-
esteem, narcissism) and other individual difference variables (e.g., attributional
styles) that influence aspects of social behavior may also be reviewed. In addition,
students are provided with experiences that inform them about the methods used to
scientifically study human social behavior. The field of social psychology is very
broad. Therefore, different topics within the field may be covered and/or emphasized
by the multiple instructors who teach this class. | Topical Outline: | The following list of topics are among those that may be covered in a particular
class. This list is not meant to be comprehensive or exhaustive, but illustrative
