Course Title: | Insurer Operations and Policy |
Course Description: | Analysis of insurer operations and the issues facing managers
of such operations. Topics covered include regulation,
accounting, finance, marketing, underwriting, reinsurance,
ratemaking, and claims. Students participate in simulated
operation of a homeowner's insurer in a competitive market,
gaining hands-on experience with insurance company management
in a dynamic setting. |
