Course Objectives: | Understand various savings and investment concepts and
terminology; understand the importance of time value of money in
savings and investment portfolio management; understand the
effect oftaxes, inflation and other economic factors on savings
and investments; understand the characteristics and the
advantages and disadvantages of the wide variety of savings and
investment instruments that may be included in a savings and
investment portfolio; assess, measure, and evaluate the
performance of various types of savings and investments. |
