portfolios, construction of investment policy statements,

Course Objectives: | (1) Understand the importance of specific goals, investment
objectives and knowledge, risk tolerance, and time horizon when
constructing and managing a portfolio for a client.
(2) Learn how to use asset allocation strategies when
constructing investment portfolios, and construct a portfolio
using an asset allocation model.
(3) Understand the importance of Investment Policy Statements
and learn how to develop these statements and make
recommendations to clients.
(4) Learn how to analyze the historical performance of
securities and asset managers using available research
software programs. |
