Description
The Undergraduate Certificate in Immunology recognizes students that understand the core tenets of immunology in the context of health and disease and can evaluate and communicate research in immunology. This certificate would be useful for undergraduate students in any of the biological science majors with an interest in a career in medicine, biomedical research, and public health or policy, in either the public or private sectors. In addition to the value the core courses bring to the certificate recipients, the elective choices carry added value by emphasizing skills which prepare students to be good researchers and communicators.
The certificate requires completion of 12 credit hours with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
