Course Objectives
This course is specifically designed for history graduate students (and graduate students in related fields) who are preparing for comprehensive examinations in Latin American and Caribbean history, who are preparing to offer a teaching field in Latin American and Caribbean history, and/or who require an introduction to the major themes and historiography of Latin American and Caribbean history.
Topical Outline
Topics will vary from year to year but will be sufficiently broad and inclusive in order to meet the general goals of the course.
