Course Objectives
1. Student and instructor will negotiate a topic and foci for the independent study. 2. Student and instructor will develop a reading list for the independent study. 3. Student and instructor will develop the vehicles through which the student will report regularly on their readings (e.g., journals, regularly scheduled meetings). 4. Student will complete a summative paper or project for the semester.
