Course Description

Provides instruction in the art and science of writing successful anthropological Ph.D. research proposals. Students will learn how to transform their research ideas and create a viable and fundable research proposal.

Course Objectives

Students will learn the fundamentals of proposal writing, including content, structure, and purpose of research proposals Students will understand the sequence of and relationships among the steps of the research process Students will demonstrate the ability to communicate persuasively about their research problem Students will develop a unique voice and professional identity as a researcher
