Emphasis is on improving oral expression and developing conversational skills through social interactions, under the direction of the Spanish Resident Language Coordinator. Given in Spanish, in the University Language Community.

Course Objectives
Students will practice speaking Spanish in an informal discussion atmosphere. They will improve their ability to initiate and sustain conversation on a variety of topics related to their own lives and the Spanish-speaking world.
Topical Outline
Topics of conversation will include, but not be limited to, students' lives, issues of international interest, and cultural events.
