Course Objectives
Students will gain needed instructional experience in developing teaching skills and methodologies through gradual introduction to teaching in the dance classroom with the guidance of the Practicum Teacher.
Topical Outline
Students will take part in the following phases of participating in a field or university classroom experience from the perspective of the instructor: a) observation b) guided teaching experience c) reflection of practices of both practicum student and mentor teacher.
