A bit of everything to know if you act, sing, dance, direct, produce, manage, teach, model, compete, run a meeting, give an award, or stand on stage for any reason. Costumes and makeup not covered.

Course Objectives
1. Students will learn the fundamentals of how to schedule, budget, manage, and produce a live event. 2. Students will gain practical experience in scenery construction, lighting, and audio. 3. Students will learn the fundamentals of rigging, projections, properties, and stage management. 4. Students will learn about safety and health hazards on stage and in production support, how to guard against them, legal responsibilities, and recourse.
