Fundamental principles and practices in makeup for stage and media. Drawing and face painting skills as well as practice in use of cosmetics, wigs, hair pieces, and work with departmental productions.

Course Objectives

The objective of this course is to introduce the student to visual characterization and the use of makeup to transform the actor. Heavy emphasis is placed on enlarging the student's ability to communicate through drawing and face painting.
