Course Description
Build new media solutions that address specific client needs, explore and implement emerging technologies, or both. Students call upon all of the skills gained throughout New Media Certificate coursework to develop and design projects that are debuted at the end of the semester.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students are required to demonstrate advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities through a combination of the following as determined by the instructor:
- Leadership roles on team projects
- Additional project research
- Additional assignments or increased project scope
- Independent execution of projects typically completed by teams
- Self-directed advanced study
- Portfolio expansion in special topics

- Explore the real-world applications of new and emerging technologies. - Gain an understanding of academic and/or applied research, rapid prototyping, iterative development, and product presentation. - Learn to conceptualize, plan, execute, and present new media products. - Finalize and debut a professional portfolio showcasing accomplishments and skillsets.
